The Transformer and Mutual Inductor Polarity Tester is a new generation CT, PT polarity testing instrument developed by Wugao Electric Measurement Company after extensive market research.
The traditional method for testing mutual inductor polarity uses the positive and negative terminals of a dry battery connected to the polarity and non-polarity terminals of the primary side of the current transformer, and performs a make-and-break test. Meanwhile, an ammeter or a multimeter in mA range is connected to the secondary side to observe the deflection direction of the pointer. On site, one person is needed to observe the pointer deflection, another to perform the make-and-break test. A set of CTs with three phases each has three sets of coils for protection, metering, and measurement. Test personnel need to perform multiple make-and-break tests, which is quite cumbersome. Moreover, when the current transformer has a large transformation ratio, the secondary induced current is very small, making it almost impossible to deflect the pointer.
This product is suitable for transformer polarity testing. The test is simple and the results are reliable.
This instrument has outstanding features such as novel practicality, beautiful appearance, portability, strong anti-interference capability, and high stability and reliability.
Main Functions:
1. Can measure CT polarity, including CT polarity with large transformation ratios;
2. Can measure electromagnetic PT polarity;
