How to Use the Electronic Transformer Calibrator

The electronic transformer calibration software is divided into three functional interfaces: error verification, parameter settings, and communication settings. This article uses the WD-807 transformer tester from Wuhan Gaodian Electric as an example to briefly introduce the functions and operation methods of each functional interface.

1.  Communication Settings

The communication settings interface is used to set communication parameters related to the calibrator control module. Here, you can test the communication with the calibrator control module. The interface is shown in the figure below:

By default, this interface does not require any settings. When the software is opened, the serial port is automatically opened. Only when you need to change settings or perform communication tests do you need to modify the settings.

The data receiving area displays received data, communication frames, etc. The data sending area stores the data to be sent, which is sent to the control module of the calibrator.

Setting instructions:

²  Serial Port Number: Select the serial port number used for communication with the calibrator control module, fixed at COM2.

²  Baud Rate: Select the baud rate for communication, default is 57600.

²  Parity Bit: You can choose odd parity, even parity, or no parity; the default is no parity.

²  Stop Bit: Select the number of stop bits for serial communication, default is 1 stop bit.
