BCSE-48V Battery Bank Capacity Monitoring and Discharge Equipment Selection Manual
OverviewBattery banks used in communicationrooms, whether maintenance-free or other types, must be discharged periodically according to battery usage regulations, and during the discharge process, the terminal voltage, temperature, and current of the batteries must be monitored to ensure that the batteries maintain a certain storage capacity. Using our company's monitoring products can further analyze the quality and capacity of the batteries, and quickly identify lagging cells.
To monitor the voltage and current status of each cell, quickly measure the remaining capacity, and discover the quality and storage capability of the batteries, our BCSU equipment can be used. For short-term discharge or long-term capacity testing of the battery bank, deep discharge, and project acceptance, our BDCT equipment can be used.
If you need both BCSU and BDCT functions and prefer portability, the BCSE series is the choice.
BCSE = Rapid Capacity Analysis + Cell Voltage Monitoring + Constant Current Discharge
I. Main Functions of BCSE
1. The product simultaneously has three functions: capacity analysis, cell voltage monitoring, and constant current discharge.
2. Adopts a large touch screen, allowing direct click operation on the screen.
3. Has full deep discharge capability: can meet ten hours of continuous discharge, accurately measuring battery capacity.
4. Has rapid capacity analysis function: can estimate the remaining battery capacity through a five-minute discharge.
5. Has parallel operation function: two units can be connected in parallel for simultaneous constant current discharge, with up to 9 units in parallel.
6. Has float charge period recording function: can record battery status during float charging and timely suggest when "equalizing charge" is needed.
7. Has multiple alarm functions: can issue alarms in a timely manner, stop discharge, and provide misoperation prompts such as reverse polarity connection, without damaging the instrument.
8. Has intelligent scan cycle function: can automatically adjust the scan cycle, eliminating the need to set complex cycle parameters, and records discharge (charge) data at the optimal scan cycle.
9. External contact function: provides output contacts for external charging equipment or other devices to handle appropriately after discharge completion, external charging over/under voltage, or other alarms.
10. Computer function: can perform online communication with this unit and collect discharge (charge) records and real-time status of the battery bank for battery quality assessment and analysis.
11. 8M storage memory: can store multiple sets of discharge data, and through the host, you can review, analyze, delete, and manage historical discharge data.
12. During discharge, it can also connect to a PC to receive discharge data in real time; data can also be copied to a PC via SD card for analysis and test report generation.
13. Safety relay device: the safety relay is controlled by the unit's microcomputer and is completely isolated from the battery when not discharging or during alarms.
14. Appearance design: the panel adopts a front inclined design, easy to read and operate, beautiful and generous. All wiring is designed at the front, and the cooling air is blown out from the rear of the unit, not affecting wire quality and heat dissipation efficiency.
15. Uses high-efficiency discharge materials, no red-hot phenomenon during discharge. Even if the cooling fan stops, the unit automatically reduces the discharge current, avoiding the red-hot danger of ordinary discharge equipment.
16. The internal memory device uses FLASH ROM design, with a memory retention capability of up to 10 years, unlike ordinary relay memory devices that rely on small batteries and only have a retention capability of three months, with the risk of battery leakage.
17. Has quick connection function, simple operation and use.
