Oil Dielectric Loss Tester Oil Cup Cleaning Tips

Oil Dielectric Loss Tester Oil Cup Cleaning Tips:

1. After completely disassembling the measuring electrodes, thoroughly clean all components sequentially with chemically pure petroleum ether (distillation range 60-90°C) and benzene;

2. Then rinse all components with acetone, followed by cleaning with a neutral detergent.

3. Boil all components in a 5% trisodium phosphate solution in distilled water for 5 minutes, then rinse several times with distilled water;

4. Boil all components in distilled water for at least 1 hour;

5. Dry all components in an oven (85-110°C) for no less than 40 minutes;

6. After all components have cooled to a touchable temperature, assemble the measuring electrodes. Note that during assembly, wrap each component with a clean silk cloth and avoid direct hand contact. After assembly, measure the dissipation factor of the empty electrodes. At a power frequency of 2kV, it should not exceed 5×10⁻⁵; otherwise, clean again.
