In order to meet the need for rapid measurement of transformer DC resistance, our company has developed a revolutionary product, the handheld three-channel DC resistance tester. This instrument adopts brand-new technology and features high efficiency, small size (single-hand operation), light weight, and large output current. The entire unit is controlled by an ARM processor, automatically completing self-check, data processing, display, and other functions. It also has functions such as automatic discharge, automatic demagnetization, and charge/discharge indication.
This instrument has high measurement accuracy and is easy to operate. It is suitable for testing distribution transformers, instrument transformers, reactors, generators, motors, and other test objects. It can also be used for rapid measurement of switches, copper bars, contactors, relay contacts, metal wires, cable accessories, and other test objects, featuring fast speed and stable data.
Handheld three-channel DC resistance tester product features
Outstanding advantages
A revolutionary product representing a major breakthrough in DC resistance testing technology. It is the first handheld multi-channel DC resistance tester launched domestically, lightweight yet powerful, and easy to carry.
The concept of one-time wiring eliminates the need to reconnect and disconnect test leads, saving more time and reducing numerous safety hazards.
Built-in large-capacity lithium battery, capable of continuous operation for more than 10 hours under typical conditions (typical conditions refer to measured resistance less than 100mΩ, 2A current range, and fully charged battery).
The test procedure is simple and efficient, with 5 test modes to choose from. The instrument automatically measures the resistance of the selected high-voltage or low-voltage side winding, including three-phase winding measurement on both high and low voltage sides, or single winding measurement.
Automatically selects the test current, with a maximum current of up to 2A.
Effective reading up to 50,000 counts, with a display range of 0-49,999, which is more than 2.5 times that of similar products from other manufacturers (other manufacturers' products have an effective reading of only 20,000 counts or even 10,000 counts, meaning the maximum display is only 19,999 or even 9,999).
Wide measurement range (0.1μΩ-20KΩ), suitable for distribution transformers, instrument transformers, reactors, generators, motors, and other test objects. It can also be used for measuring switches, copper bars, contactors, relay contacts, metal wires, cable accessories, and other test objects.
The menu is simple and user-friendly, with clear and readable data display, even under sunlight.
The instrument has a calendar and can store up to 10,000 sets of data, which is not lost when the power is off.
Simple and convenient USB storage for storing and transferring test results for review and editing.
The synchronous winding magnetization technology enables accurate and rapid DC resistance testing of large inductive loads. Whether for star-connected or delta-connected windings, one-time wiring can complete three-phase resistance measurement and automatically calculate the three-phase unbalance rate, greatly saving measurement time and improving work efficiency.
Built-in automatic demagnetization function after testing, with audible discharge alarm and clear discharge indication, reducing operational errors.
If the test leads are accidentally disconnected or the power supply is interrupted, the built-in complete discharge circuit and back-EMF protection circuit provide strong arc resistance capability.
Power supply method
This instrument adopts an AC/DC dual-use mode.
When the dedicated power adapter is not plugged in, it is powered by the built-in lithium battery;
After plugging in the dedicated power adapter, it automatically switches to AC power supply mode and charges the instrument simultaneously.
Safety precautions
This instrument can be used indoors and outdoors, but should avoid use in places with rain, corrosive gases, dust, high temperature, etc.
Be sure to read this manual carefully before using the instrument.
The operator of the instrument should have general knowledge of electrical equipment or instruments.
This instrument is a high-precision instrument and should avoid severe vibration.
Maintenance, repair, and debugging of this instrument should be carried out by professionals.
After testing, be sure to wait until the discharge indication is complete before turning off the power and removing the test leads.
When measuring no-load tap-changing transformers, be sure to wait until the discharge prompt ends before switching the transformer tap.
During the test, it is forbidden to disassemble or move the test clamps and power supply lines.
