HDSS-10 Automatic Water-Soluble Acid Tester User Guide with Illustrations

1. Unpacking: Open the packaging box, take out the accessory box, and check the accessories. Place the main unit on a stable workbench. 4. Connect the waste liquid hose to the waste outlet on the back panel, and insert the other end of the hose into a suitable waste liquid bottle. 5. Open the front panel, connect the peristaltic pump tube labeled Bromocresol Green to the Bromocresol Green indicator bottle, and connect the peristaltic pump tube labeled Bromocresol Purple to the Bromocresol Purple indicator bottle. Press down the pressure arms of the three peristaltic pumps respectively and lock them with the lever. Close the front compartment door. 1. The instrument uses ~220V power supply. The instrument casing should be reliably grounded through the grounding terminal to prevent electric shock accidents! During the waiting period, the instrument performs self-check and initialization reset. After completion, it displays the main operation interface. Inside, there are 3 sample bottles numbered 1# to 3#. For each sample bottle, first use a measuring cylinder to inject 50ml of deionized water that has been boiled for 5 minutes, then use another measuring cylinder to inject 50ml of the oil sample to be tested, and cover with the lid. According to the number of samples to be tested, take 3 to 9 disposable reaction cups, arrange them in a vertical row of three each, and place them in the reaction cup tray holes on the lower right part of the instrument in order from left to right. Use the increase and decrease keys to adjust the year, month, day, hour, minute, and second parameters; touch 01 oil sample, 02 oil sample... and the area will display with high backlight, indicating that the instrument will clear the oil samples in cup 1, cup 2, etc.; if you want to clear all oil sample cups at the same time, touch "Select All", and 01, 02, 03 oil samples will all display with high backlight. After pressing the confirm key, the instrument will automatically perform the cup emptying action. Touch 01 oil sample, 02 oil sample... and the area will display with high backlight, indicating that this oil sample is selected and will be tested, as shown in the figure: If all three oil samples need to be tested, just press the "Select All" key on the right side, as shown in the figure: Re-selection: To avoid mis-selection, you can re-select until the desired sample positions are all selected; Start test: Enter the test interface, and the instrument will follow the standard specified steps, performing heating, oscillation, settling, water sample extraction, color development, color comparison, and pH value determination in sequence, until all pre-set samples are tested. The instrument displays the test results and stores them, and the interface will automatically switch to the data query interface; The valve corresponding to the oil sample to be tested opens, extracts the sample, and injects it into two reaction cups (the first cup injected with the oil sample is called reaction cup 1; the second cup is called reaction cup 2) to start titrating with indicators Bromocresol Green and Bromocresol Purple. After precise calculation, nine drops of each indicator are added. Follow the prompts on the display interface, take two disposable sample cups, add an appropriate amount of ethanol, place them in position 1 of the sample tray, and touch the start key to clean the instrument; after cleaning, the instrument automatically shuts down.
