1. First, determine the gauge length. The method to adjust the gauge length is to loosen the fixing screws on both sides of the printing assembly by 5 mm and then tighten the screws.

2. Lift the cone rod lifting handle, straighten the steel bar and place it into the V-shaped groove (with the straight edge of the deformed steel bar facing up), and tighten it securely.

3. Lower the handle and rotate the small wheel on the left end to bring the cone rod to its lowest position. Adjust the height adjustment handle so that the cone tip contacts the steel bar, then continue to lower it by 1-2 mm to ensure sufficient penetration allowance for the cone head into the steel bar.

4. Lift the handle, connect the power supply, switch the direction switch to the left travel position, and turn on the power switch. The power indicator light will illuminate. If the printing assembly is in the middle position, the working indicator light will also illuminate, and the printing assembly will travel to the far left and automatically stop, and the working indicator light will turn off.

5. Lower the cone rod, switch the direction switch to the right travel position, press the right travel button, wait for the motor to run normally, then release the button. The printing assembly will travel to the far right and automatically stop.

6. Lift the cone rod, loosen the tightening screws, remove the steel bar, and the marking is complete.

7. Then switch the direction switch to the left travel position, press the left travel button, after the motor runs, release the button. The printing assembly will travel to the far left and automatically stop to maintain readiness for the next operation.

Maintenance and Care

1. The steel bar marking instrument should be reliably grounded before use.

2. When moving to the left, the cone rod must be lifted, and the operation must be strictly followed according to the operating method. Incorrect operation will damage the motor and electrical components.

3. Keep this instrument clean at all times and store it in a dry place.

4. Regularly add lubricating oil to the sliding parts of the steel bar marking instrument.
