How to Set Test Parameters for Handheld Three-Phase Energy Meter On-site Calibrator
 How to set test parameters for handheld three-phase energy meter on-site calibrator? The energy meter on-site calibrator is mainly used to quickly detect whether the various attributes of the energy meter can work normally and whether the accuracy of the energy meter meets the standard. Before using this instrument, it is necessary to set the corresponding parameters of the energy meter on-site tester according to the parameters of the tested energy meter. This article takes YTC2089three-phase energy meter on-site calibrator as an example to briefly introduce how to set parameters for the three-phase energy meter on-site calibrator.

        The parameter setting interface is used to adjust the data that needs to be determined before the test. Including: PT ratio, CT ratio, meter constant, set number of turns, wiring mode, input mode, current input, set date, set time, meter number.

        PT ratio: — When performing direct testing of high-voltage metering, it is used to input the ratio of the voltage transformer connected to the high-voltage metering meter, so that the primary parameter in the electrical test can be directly converted to the voltage value on the primary side; when setting, first press the 【OK】 key to enter the modification state, at this time this parameter turns red, then press the corresponding number keys to input the required number, and finally press the 【OK】 key to complete the setting.

        CT ratio: There are two cases; when performing direct testing of high-voltage metering, it is used to input the ratio of the current transformer connected to the high-voltage metering meter, so that the primary parameter in the electrical test can be directly converted to the current value on the primary side; when performing low-voltage metering meter calibration by directly sampling from the primary side of the CT, it is used to input the ratio of the current transformer connected to the metering meter to complete the normal calibration; when setting, first press the 【OK】 key to enter the modification state, at this time this parameter turns red, then press the corresponding number keys to input the required number, and finally press the 【OK】 key to complete the setting.

        Meter constant: refers to the standard electrical energy pulse constant of the tested meter, input range is 0~100000; when setting, first press the 【OK】 key to enter the modification state, at this time this parameter turns red, then press the corresponding number keys to input the required number, and finally press the 【OK】 key to complete the setting.

        Set number of turns: refers to the calibration cycle, that is, how many turns (or pulses) to calculate the error once; first press the 【OK】 key to enter the modification state, at this time this parameter turns red, then press the corresponding number keys to input the required number, and finally press the 【OK】 key to complete the setting.

        Wiring mode: refers to the type of the tested meter, including: three-wire active, three-wire reactive, four-wire active, four-wire reactive four modes, use the 【←】, 【→】 keys to switch;

        Input mode: refers to the pulse sampling mode of the tested meter, including: pulse (photoelectric) mode and manual mode, use the 【←】, 【→】 keys to switch; note, when using different pulse sampling modes, be sure to set this parameter to the corresponding mode, otherwise the test may not be normal;

        Current input: refers to the current sampling mode and the selection of current range under different sampling modes, use the 【←】, 【→】 keys to switch; a total of 7 modes are included: 5A【internal CT】, 5A【small clamp】, 25A【small clamp】, 100A【medium clamp】, 500A【medium clamp】, 400A【large clamp】, 2000A【large clamp】, among which 5A【internal CT】refers to the built-in current transformer input mode, this mode has high accuracy, but the current connection is more troublesome on site, generally used in the laboratory; the other 6 with clamps refer to the clamp-type transformer input mode, this instrument supports the use of 3 types of clamp meters, the standard configuration is a small clamp meter (open circular, diameter 8 mm, can choose 5A and 25A two gears), the second is a medium clamp meter (open circular, diameter 50 mm, can choose 100A and 500A two gears), the third is a large clamp meter (open long circular, longest end 125 mm, width 50 mm), the advantage of the clamp meter mode is convenient on-site connection, no need to disconnect the current loop, but the accuracy is lower.

        Meter number: manually input the number to distinguish the results of the tested object, so that multiple groups of results will not be confused when reviewing, the meter number can be digits or letters, with a maximum input of 12 digits. There are two input methods:

        1) Direct input through the instrument keyboard. Move the cursor to the meter number option, press the confirm key twice in succession to enter the keyboard input state.

        2) Input by scanning the barcode with a scanner. The scanner is an optional device, connected to the on-site calibrator through a serial port. Connect the scanner, move the cursor to the meter number option, press the confirm key to enter the scanning state, the scanner scans the barcode successfully and the indicator light turns green, and the meter number is automatically input.

        After the various parameters of the energy meter on-site tester are set, the test can begin. This instrument is a high-precision, high-voltage level power test instrument, so power workers need to be familiar with the test method of the equipment before use, strictly follow the instruction manual for wiring and use, in order to achieve the test accuracy that the instrument should have.
