Variable Frequency Series Resonance Test Device for Field Test Operation Procedures

 1. When unpacking, test personnel should check the equipment against the packing list. If any discrepancy is found, please contact our company immediately.

    2. This test equipment should be used by professional high-voltage test personnel. Read the instruction manual carefully before use and undergo repeated operation training.

    3. At least two test personnel are required. Strictly follow your organization's safety operation procedures for high-voltage tests during use.

    4. To ensure the safety and correctness of the test, besides being familiar with this product manual, strictly follow national standards and procedures for test operations.

    5. Do not connect the connection wires incorrectly. Always connect according to the circuit diagram in the "Precautions" section; otherwise, the test device may be damaged.

    6. When this device is in use, it outputs high voltage or ultra-high voltage. It must be reliably grounded, and pay attention to operational safety.

    7. Before testing the test object, perform a no-load test on the equipment with a test voltage of 80% of the equipment's rated voltage.

    8. Whether testing the test object or performing a no-load test, the lower reactor must be isolated from the ground using an insulating support.

    9. During the test, keep the distance between the variable frequency power supply and the reactor as large as possible (to avoid safety accidents).

    10. The variable frequency power supply part of this set is in the form of a touch screen. When tapping, be gentle and slow (with a 0.5-second interval between entering the next menu). If pressed too hard or too fast, it may fail to enter the next menu or the machine may not start. Press the reset button, return to the main menu, wait 5 seconds before starting again, or directly turn off the power and restart.

    11. When setting parameters on the device, do not change the "Device Voltage" field. The "Device Voltage" is set in conjunction with the voltage divider during factory testing. If the "Device Voltage" is changed, the voltage divider sampling signal will change, and the measured voltage will not be the true test voltage; it may be higher or lower. This affects the withstand voltage test of the test object. Therefore, test personnel should record the "Device Voltage" at startup so that it can be referenced if accidentally changed.

    12. When testing objects with relatively large capacitance or high losses, such as "generators, large-capacity motors, cables longer than 1.5km", the system Q value is low. Set the "Output Voltage" between 30V and 50V. Under normal circumstances, set the "Output Voltage" between 10V and 20V. When testing cables below 10kV and within 500m in length, choose a lower excitation voltage and set the "Output Voltage" to 10V. Otherwise, when finding the resonance point, the test voltage may exceed the rated withstand voltage of the test object, and the system Q value is high, which can easily cause breakdown of the test object.
